iOS Developer

Churchill Navigation is developing the next generation of airborne mission equipment — our augmented reality products are used throughout the world in helicopters, airplanes, and UAVs for assisting first responders, monitoring wildlife and the environment, enhancing broadcast television, and much more.

Eleven years ago we created the first virtual globe for smartphones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhuI-DErR50), but changed course and have since focused on developing augmented reality mapping systems for aircraft. We dominate that market and are looking to revisit what we can do with smartphones again (think AR for low-cost drones, video streaming on tablets or phones in the aircraft or on the ground, etc.).

Our company is small and everyone contributes with minimal supervision. We are looking for a hard-working, creative, smart, self-managed, and a get-it-done type of person who can thrive in a start-up like atmosphere. This position will be responsible for porting our existing AR and terrain rendering engine as well as revamping our “pilot display” video streaming application.
